Monica McWilliams [TJI] on Peacebuilding in Syria

PSRP team member, Monica McWilliams (Transitional Justice Institute), was interviewed by the BBC about the plight of Syrian refugees on the Turkish border, and the need for governments across Europe to prioritise a humanitarian response to the crisis.

The Interview built off Monica’s recent piece for the PSRP Blog, subsequently published by RightsNI, where she shared her experiences working with peace-building, civil society, and women’s organisations in Turkey and further discusses the current predicament faced by those remaining in Syria.
