June 27, 2016 @ 9:00 am - July 1, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
TJI will be running its 9th annual Summer School on Transitional Justice in association with the Political Settlements Research Programme.
The Summer School is a week long residential course consisting of a series of interactive lectures, workshops and roundtable discussions. It is aimed at both postgraduate students and practitioners working in the field of transitional justice and human rights.
TJI is delighted to offer four full scholarships to the Annual TJI Summer School in June 2016 for applicants living and/or working in the global South. The scholarships will cover the cost of registration, accommodation and return travel to attend the Summer School (flights to a maximum of £1,300). The scholarships are funded by the DFID Political Settlements Research Programme. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of professional experience, academic qualifications and likely benefit to the applicant.
In addition, the Transitional Justice Institute will offer two additional partial scholarships with no restrictions to geography which will pay the cost of registration and accommodation. For partial scholarships, applicants will be expected to pay for their own travel costs. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of professional experience, academic qualifications and likely benefit to the applicant.
