SUMMARY:TJI-PSRP Summer School: Gender\, Conflict\, Terrorism\, and Countering-Violent Extremism\, Belfast 2017
DESCRIPTION:Transitional Justice Institute (TJI) will run its 10th annual Summer School with the theme of Gender\, Conflict\, Terrorism and Countering-Violent Extremism\, at Ulster University\, Belfast\, from June 12-16 2017.  It is part of the PSRP Gender research theme\, and is formally partnered with UN Women. The event is funded by TJI and Ulster University. \nThe Summer School is a week long residential course consisting of a series of interactive lectures\, workshops and roundtable discussions. Given the important overlaps between conflict\, political violence\, terrorism and counter-terrorism\, the Summer School will be particularly relevant to global conversations and have significant policy relevance to the Women Peace and Security agenda\, and women’s rights. \nDownload the draft programme. \nThe deadline for application has now passed. \nPhoto credit: TJI \n
