DESCRIPTION:This is an internal event for University of Edinburgh staff and students. You can register now on MyEd. \nAre you interested in engaging with policymakers internationally? Come along and hear from our panellists who have experience working with policymakers in particular countries and with policymakers in international organisations\, including Dr Kathryn Nash of the PSRP. \nChair: Dr Shonagh McEwan\, Knowledge Exchange and Impact Advisor\, Edinburgh Research Office \nPanellists: Dr Sole Garcia Ferrari (ECA)\, Dr Kathryn Nash (Law)\, Dr Sam Spiegel (SSPS) \nFormat: Sandwich lunch at 12:30 followed by presentation(s) and Q&A. If you are attending the presentation only this starts promptly at 12:45. This event is aimed at staff in CAHSS but is open to staff in other colleges working in relevant disciplines. \nWhat are Knowledge Exchange (KE) Learning Lunches? Learning Lunches provide a space to explore and learn about knowledge exchange and impact combined with the opportunity to network over a sandwich lunch. Colleagues and external speakers will share their experiences\, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. \nAt Edinburgh Research Office we work alongside researchers to grow ideas into fundable proposals. We provide expertise at all stages\, from developing your idea and identifying funding to crafting your application and managing your award. The Knowledge Exchange and Impact Team work alongside researchers to enable engagement with policy makers\, practitioners\, industry and the public. \n  \n
