DESCRIPTION:The Political Settlements Research Programme and The Global Justice Academy\, University of Edinburgh\, invite you to an evening food and drinks reception as part of the International Studies Association 60th Annual Convention in Toronto. \nWhen: Thursday 28 March\, 1930 – 2030\nWhere: Varley Room\, Hilton Toronto \nEdinburgh PeaceTech Initiative \nJoin the PSRP Team at ISA Toronto for an introduction to PeaceTech\, with opening remarks from Oliver Richmond (Manchester) and Sanja Badanjak (Edinburgh). \nThe Edinburgh PeaceTech Initiative fosters the use of data and collaborative data-sharing\, and methodological innovation around digital technologies\, to advance the capacity of those technologies for peace research. \nThe Global Justice Academy is an interdisciplinary network that supports research\, teaching\, and knowledge exchange on global justice issues. It seeks to build on\, consolidate\, and expand the work\nof existing centres and collaborations at The University of Edinburgh. The Political Settlements Research Programme is run by a North-South Consortium of organisations: \n\nThe University of Edinburgh’s Global Justice Academy\nConciliation Resources\nASPR\nInternational IDEA\nInstitute for Security Studies\nRift Valley Institute\nUlster University’s Transitional Justice Institute.\n\nThe Programme examines how political settlements come to be\, how open and inclusive they are\, and who shapes them and how. \nPlease RSVP to: PoliticalSettlements@ed.ac.uk \n
