DESCRIPTION:*This event is by invitation only* \nInternational IDEA\, the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law (ECCL)\, the Global Justice Academy (GJA)\, in association with the Political Settlements Research Programme (PSRP) of the University of Edinburgh\, and with support from the UK Department for International Development\, will hold the sixth Edinburgh Dialogue on Post-Conflict Constitution Building on 9-10 December\, 2019\, at the University of Edinburgh Law School. \nThis annual series is a closed workshop bringing together high-level experts and practitioners from the fields of constitution building\, peacebuilding and conflict mediation for two days of discussion on an issue relating to the role of constitution building in conflict-to-peace transitions. Previous years have focused on Interim Constitutions\, Sequencing Peace Agreements and Constitutions\, Sub-State Constitutions\, (S)electing Constitution Making Bodies and the Intersection of Constitution Building and Transitional Justice Processes. \nThe theme for the 2019 Edinburgh Dialogue is ‘Interim Governance Arrangements in Post-Conflict and Fragile Settings’. \nFor more information\, contact politicalsettlements@ed.ac.uk. \n  \n
