PSRP Workshop: Local, Regional and International Perspectives on Political Settlement and Transition

Oñati International Institute for the Sociology of Law and Transitional Justice Institute are running a workshop on ‘Local, Regional and International Perspectives on Political Settlement and Transition’ on July 14th and 15th 2016 in Oñati. This workshop explores the interconnections between transitional justice (TJ) and political settlement in multiple institutional settings, interdisciplinary, and regional perspectives. It seeks to better understand the relationship between societies addressing substantial political restructuring through a process of political settlement as well as societies in transition from conflict or repression where significant human rights abuses constitute an important dimension of the political and legal landscape.
